I have been blessed to work with a non-profit for years. This non-profit is small but has always been focused on Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Every year I get a little more understanding of what it is.

The non-profit I know that does good work in Haiti now is the popular Yele.org, which is supported and started by Wyclef Jean. As a fan of The Fugees I know that Wyclef too considers himself a refugee from Haiti. Wyclef has made huge efforts to help the Haitian people consistently since 2005. The nonprofit I know was started with a purpose of giving back to the Haitian people.
